I am currently doing my Master’s in Education with a focus in Special Education at Memorial University. In the past few years I have taught elementary students at international schools in both Egypt and China.
I am interested in open access as (I hope) it will help bridge the gap between research and practice in elementary/secondary education, as more parents and teachers will be able to access the research being done in the education field (specifically within special education).
