I am a first year graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Affairs with an emphasis in public policy at the University of Missouri. I am also the Associated Students of the University of Missouri (ASUM) Executive Director. ASUM is a student lobbying organization representing the University of Missouri System students. In this role, I serve on the University of Missouri Graduate Professional Council's National Affairs Committee. Through this committee I attended the National Association of Graduate-Professional Student (NAGPS) Legislative Action Days in D.C. At LAD, I met with congressional committee staff and members of the Missouri congressional delegation to advocate for more Open Access.
